Is it Japanese whisky?

Mashed, fermented, distilled, matured and bottled in Japan, per the Japan Spirits & Liqueurs Makers Association standard.

How it tastes

Partly matured in ex-shochu casks, which gives it a savoury edge you will not find anywhere else. Bottled strong. One of the few genuinely novel things happening in the category rather than another take on Scotch.
